Oxford Overdrive Sound Pack is my second wavetable pack made specifically for the Monomachine commissioned by Elektron Music Machines.
The idea was to sample vintage synthesizer in order to get single cycle wave forms, as User Waves. These can be used, as part of wavetable synthesis sound engine utilised in the Monomachine. It is used for extending the sound palette, changing the tone and adding a bit of vibe from the old keyboard synths to the modern machine.
OSCar is classic British mono synth released in 1983 by Oxford Synthesiser Company (OSC). Big thanks goes to John Diver who let me use his unit, so I could create this sound pack. I’ve been told he got it new once it was released.

Recently I have been involved in really exciting project with Elektron Music Machines. The idea was to sample vintage analog synthesizers especially for Monomachine SFX-60 groovebox to get single cycle wave forms, as User Waves. That’s why I decided to make a guide or at least posted few photos showing the rack in detail. Hope it is useful. I will be making pdf to cover more details so please email me if you have any questions or suggestions.
It all started after reading this thread. I decided to do this rack/stand to fit both Elektron machines into the hand luggage. The aim was to have secure solution for travelling via cheap airlines and reduce the flight costs for my gigs in Europe. It also meant saving space on my desk which filled up with new gear quickly. Unfortunately it didn’t fulfill the security for gear …
Dataline (Cenk Sayinli) vs Koshi Mazaki (Radek Rudnicki)
It is hardware based live act where all the sounds are generated live on stage on Elektron machines (Machinedrum, Monomachine and Octatrack). Improvised set mixes techno, dubstep, elektro and noise music into one unique form. Set ranges from 30min to 2h blocks. We use up to 5 drum machines for increased diversity and density of material.
