Space F!ght is an award-winning audiovisual experience, live performance, and collective of artists that I founded in 2010. It assembles top live performers and visual artists from across Europe. The project has toured the UK and Europe, with notable performances at prestigious events such as London Jazz 2019, Mira Festival Barcelona 2014, and Kernel Festival in Italy 2012.
In collaboration with researchers from the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) and NASA GISS in 2013, Space F!ght created an audiovisual act highlighting the impact of ozone on human health. By integrating data visualisation, sonification, spatial sound, and video mapping, the performance immersed audiences in a captivating blend of art, science, and technology. Utilising a 32-speaker array, four projection screens, and a custom-made pyramid structure for video mapping, Space F!ght delivered a thought-provoking and engaging experiences.
The tools used in the project include Max8, modular synthesis, electronic hardware(drum machines and samplers), vvvv, live instruments, open source data sets analysed with SEI and NASA GISS researchers. The combination of cutting-edge technology and artistic talent resulted in a truly immersive and memorable experience for audiences.
