[/aside]UUCMS is a collaborative project where the acoustic and electronic sound worlds collide in an experimental manner. Custom-made systems create pieces originating from controlled improvisation.
The diverse program ranges from techno-based loops to extended techniques on percussive instruments and found objects. Everything is processed live, ruled by interactive scores with a mixture of conventional and alternative notation – from manuscript paper to ink in an aquarium. We have our hands deep in a variety of instruments, software manipulation, cutting edge devices and exploitation of hardware.
UUCMS performed at International Arts Festival 2010(Padova), Luigi Nono Festival 2010 (Trieste), BEAM Festival 2012 (London), Sensorium 2011 (Dublin), CFCP (Dublin), Late Music Festival 2010 (York), among others.
