Audio visual live act that blends the world of music and film together bringing live improvisation and live film montage into one unique art form.
Each performer has three movies cut into dozens of short looped clips. Musicians trigger loops using sound and physical gestures to progress throughout films creating an ever-changing experience and vj style performance for the audience. Music exploits a range of dynamics from subtle gestures, evolving textures, to walls of mass noise. Whole performance represents a fragmented timeline.
Permission of movies generously granted by directors and the Asolo Art Film Festival (Italy).
Nine movies were used from film makers such as: Le Fresnoy, Onni Pohl, Bitzer – Brunck – Weber, Yoko Fukushima, Johanna Vaude, Provorov-Myznikova, Pelin Kirca, Ameera Kawash, Mia Grau and Yuri Ancarani.
The Asolo Thing is played as part of UUCMS audio visual set.

Freeform is a solo piece based on a hardware and software improvisation system I created. The source material used is sampled guitar (Craig Scott). The idea of the system was to be flexible, fast, easy to use and portable. While gathering the source material, one of the few restrictions I placed upon the improviser was a ten-minute timeframe per take, which seemed long enough to get desired results from the improvisers I worked with.
